Its been a while that i ve been searching for LED rear lights of any kind of light that cud make my ride look better but cudnt find any..
so i thought y nt to get them custom made so i went to babu mahala (Pakistan) to get an estimate. Well they made me rethink abt getting those lights done by asking a lil to much
So this brought me to this point that nw i ve strtd making Rear LED lights on my own and by DIY i mean that these things are really being done by my own hands and as i m accounting student this make me more than happy that i m doing this thing abt which i knw nothing...if someone said resistor i was like..Huh??!!
The Project is far from completion but wud be updating u guys frm time to time as this project proceeds
Till then this is wat i ve done.....So do give comments and also suggestion; And specially criticism wud be entertained

First i started of by cutting the board according to the size which wud fit in the light housing and then i made the wiring connection as you can see in the image below... adn after completing the circuit i applied silicon glue to make my circuit water proof just in case any water gets inside the rear light housing...
I attached the LEDs in series of 3 as they r easy to connect and connected all the series in parallel....In all cars battery supplies 12v which is way to much for LEDs to handle so for Crystal Red LED 330ohms of resistor is required which is connected with the positive terminal of power and for Crystal White I used 180ohms of resistor for each series as shown in pic below
if u want to experiment with LEDs and resistors then you can click here for further help regarding connection of LEDs and resistors
After that i checked my circuit by placing it in the light cover to see its result and i was very happy with what i have done so far
I made two sets of LEDs circuit on each PCB board to differentiate between Brake light and Parking light as you can see below...
To make separate connection for Brake and Parking light u will find that there are 3 wires connected to your brake light.

Black one is ground wire which is connected to any metal part of the car, Red one is of the parking light wire and Green one is of Brake light. What you have to do is that you have to connect -ve wires of both LEDs circuit to Black/Ground wire and connect the outside circuit's +ve wire with parking/Red wire and connect the inside circuit's +ve wire with Brake/Green wire and your connection is done and the end result wud be as shown above :)
wiring color can vary depending on your car
